Shutdown & Project Support in Sydney

CIC provides extra electrical and controls capacity for planned shutdowns and project deadlines across Sydney and NSW, subject to availability.

What shutdown support covers

A shutdown is a fixed window where the work has to land — tie-ins, modifications, installs and commissioning all squeezed into the time production is down. CIC provides extra electrical and controls capacity for planned shutdowns and project deadlines across Sydney and NSW, so the scope actually completes before the plant restarts.

Shutdowns reward preparation: confirmed scope, drawings reviewed, panels and kit prepped, and a realistic commissioning sequence agreed before the window opens. We work the floor during the shutdown and help close out defects afterwards, with the goal of getting production back online cleanly rather than chasing loose ends for days.

What we cover

  • Planned shutdown support (subject to availability)
  • Tie-ins, cut-overs and brownfield modifications
  • Pre-shutdown prep: panel mods, kit prep, drawings review
  • On-the-floor commissioning and SAT assistance
  • Post-shutdown defect close-out

  • A project hitting a commissioning deadline
  • Installation and tie-in works that have to fit a tight window
  • Defect close-out needed before the plant ramps back up

How CIC approaches this work

Plan first

We confirm scope and required capacity ahead of the window so the shutdown actually completes.

Useful on the controls side

Capacity that can chase wiring, terminations, PLC code and HMI changes, not just hand-tool work.

Subject to availability

We do not promise unlimited resourcing. We agree what is achievable before committing.

Discuss shutdown support

Tell us a bit about your site, the equipment and how urgent the work is. Availability for urgent, shift and shutdown work is confirmed case by case.

Urgency

This helps us triage availability; it is not a response-time guarantee.
