Technical Labour Support
Short-term and project-based industrial controls support
Need short-term or project-based electrical controls support? CIC can assist with shift coverage, shutdown support, commissioning support, control panel wiring and automation technician support, subject to availability.
What this means in practice
CIC is an industrial automation and electrical controls service business. Where it helps a customer, we can also assist with short-term or project-based technical labour support — for example, shift coverage during leave or peak periods, extra capacity during a planned shutdown, on-site commissioning support, or controls help on a project running tight.
CIC is not a licensed labour-hire agency. We do not promise unlimited resourcing or 24/7 cover. We confirm what we can realistically support before the work starts and stay honest about availability.
Typical short-term and project-based support
- Shift coverage during leave, peak periods or while you recruit
- Shutdown and tie-in support during planned windows
- Commissioning and SAT support on new equipment
- Control panel wiring and modification overflow
- Automation technician support for stubborn faults
- Specialist controls help for electrical contractors
Permanent candidate introductions
For permanent hiring needs, CIC may also be able to introduce suitable industrial electricians, controls technicians or PLC-capable tradespeople through its industry network, subject to each candidate's consent and current availability.
This is a careful, network-based introduction — not a recruitment agency service. We don't make legal guarantees about a candidate, and any introduction will only happen with the candidate's knowledge and consent.
What CIC will not claim
- We do not claim to be a labour-hire agency or recruitment agency.
- We do not guarantee response times or 24/7 cover.
- We do not guarantee that any specific worker or candidate is available.
- We do not make legal employment claims.
